hello i'm amanda phipps

I'm a licensed therapist with 10 years of experience who is passionate about helping people feel less overwhelmed, more grounded, and more connected to themselves.

Many of the women I work with are used to holding everything together on their own while quietly carrying stress, anxiety, or pain from past experiences. Sometimes that pain goes back to childhood. Sometimes it shows up in ways that are hard to explain but deeply felt.

My goal is to create a space where you can finally exhale.

I use a variety of approaches to help you process what you’ve been through-not just intellectually, but on a deeper level where real healing happens. Together, we’ll gently explore your experiences, build awareness, and help your mind and body begin to feel safe again.

While I specialize in working with women’s issues, PTSD, and trauma, I welcome anyone who feels ready for support. No matter who you are or what you’re carrying, you deserve to feel seen, heard, and understood.

My style is warm, collaborative, and grounded. I’m here to walk alongside you-not to rush you or fix you, but to help you reconnect with your own strength and capacity to heal, and give you the tools you need to deal with any challenges to come.

My Approach

understand what you’re carrying

Many people come to therapy feeling overwhelmed, anxious, or disconnected-but aren’t always sure why. Together, we’ll begin by gently exploring your experiences, including how past events may still be shaping how you feel today. This isn’t about digging everything up all at once- its about making sense of your story at a pace that feels safe.

Genuine healing comes from understanding-not forcing change. When you have the space to slow down and explore your experience, meaningful shifts begin to happen naturally.

process and release

Using approaches like EMDR, Internal Family Systems (IFS), and Somatic Therapy, we’ll work with both your mind and body to help process what’s been stuck, reduce emotional intensity, and create space for relief and clarity.

Move toward something new

As things begin to shift, therapy becomes less about what’s wrong and more about what’s possible. You may notice more calm, more confidence, and a greater sense of connection to yourself. My role is to support you as you move forward in a way that feels sustainable and true to you.
